O
New Teams added while old ones are gone

The Iowa Wild have signed an affiliation with the Minnisota Wild. Meanwhile the affiliation between the Vancouver Canucks and the Chicago Wolves expired after the end of the season. The St. Louis Blues signed an affiliation with the Wolves. The Vancouver Canucks purchased the Peoria Rivermen which would locate to Utica New York and would be named the Utica Comets.
